Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Order information — your name, shipping address, email, and what you bought. This is what it takes to sell you gear and get it to your door.
• Account information — email and a password (stored hashed, never in plain text) if you create an account.
• Payment information — not by us. Card details are entered on and processed by Stripe; they never reach our servers. Venmo payments happen inside Venmo.
• Basic usage data — our own first-party page-view counts, used to see what gear people look at. We run no third-party advertising trackers.

Who touches it

We use a small set of service providers, each of which receives only what its job requires: Stripe (card processing), Shippo (shipping labels — gets your name and address), Supabase (our database), SendGrid (order confirmations, shipping updates, and our emails to you), and Vercel (site hosting). We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising. Full stop.

Email

Transactional email — order confirmations, tracking numbers, password resets — goes to everyone who orders. Occasional store emails (new drops, restocks) go to customers and subscribers, and every one carries a working unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in to your account. Your cart lives in your own browser. That's it — no cross-site tracking cookies, no ad pixels.

Retention and your rights

Order records are retained as long as bookkeeping, tax, and payment-dispute obligations require. You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold on you, correct it, or delete your account and anything not legally required to keep — email support@gymthingz.com from the address on the account and we'll handle it.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
